Ahmed Hassab

An Egyptian architectural engineer holding a Master of Architectural Engineering. With diverse experiences in research, academia,
and Professional practice. Experimenting physically the possible techniques for Digital Fabrication, machine prototyping, and
developing plugins for data extraction. Acquired practical knowledge in industries like: Architecture, Naval Design, Furniture, and
Jewelry. Currently, he is a PHD candidate at Cairo university, McNeel Barcelona authorized trainer, Africa regional manager,
inclusive futures 2021 & The President of Reparametrize.

Michael Wickerson

Associate Professor and former Chair of the Sculpture Department at the Kansas City Art Institute. A graduate from the University
of Waterloo and York University in Canada, he has exhibited internationally in North America and Europe, collaborating with
architects, engineers, programmers, and designers. Recognized as an accomplished Python developer, Wickerson’s creative
research incorporates mathematics, computer science, computational and parametric design, digital modeling, and programming
as they relate to data visualization, machine learning, and robotics.

Somia Merriout

Somia Merriout from France, architect and urbanist. She’s currently preparing a thesis concerning the mechanisms for taking into
account the identities of inhabitants in urban renewal projects. She’s also at the head of the company ArchiLiving specializing in
advice and expertise for the energy renovation of old buildings as well as the design of intelligent and connected constructions.

Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba KEBE

KEBE is from Dakar, Senegal. graduated with a Master in Urban Planning and Development, specialized in Architecture, Structure
and Urban Project, at INSA Strasbourg with honors (2019), also an architect with a double degree from the French University of
Egypt and INSA Strasbourg with honors (2016). Currently, He’s an Architect and Urban Planner, employee at the General
Delegation for the Promotion of Urban Poles of Diamniadio et du Lac Rose (DGPU) in Senegal.

Sujay Kumarji

Sujay is from Mumbai, India. Graduated with a Master of Robotics and Advanced Construction (M.R.A.C.) diploma from Institute for
Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (I.A.A.C.), Barcelona in 2019. Expertise in developing digital and robotic fabrication workflows.
His recent investigations are in real time robotic feedback and the incorporation of Machine Learning into design and fabrication
workflows have been instrumental in guiding his research. Now, He’s a digital fabrication consultant with Folds Design Studio &
Principal Architect at SK Design studio.

Mohamed El-Araby

An Egyptian Architect with a passion for historical relics yet futuristic designs and mindset. His Experiences cover in-studio work
with Alchemy Design Studio, ACC (Cairo, Egypt) and Archidentiy (Dubai, UAE). It also covers Teaching assistantship for a diverse
range of courses in The American University in Dubai. Recently, an Academic Administrator in MGSM and a lead content creator in

Jana Ahmad

• A member of the AUB-BTU project where she works with a group of architects on a study case in her hometown of Bosra; a World Heritage Site.
• A secretary, proofreader, and website manager at Twenty Two Architectural Group, a non-governmental voluntary group, specialized in the field of architecture and architects’ affairs in the Arab world through education, training, and qualification.
